Holiday Tree Sales

This is YEAA's third annual holiday tree sale. The tree supplier, Oregon Fresh, offers two varieties of Christmas trees: Noble Fir and Douglas Fir. These trees are grown in the Willamette Valley and on the slopes of the Cascade range in Oregon where the weather and soil are ideal for growing beautiful trees. Trees are harvested and delivered within 48 hours. Orders must be received by November 10th (Order Form). The trees will be available for pick up at Yukon Elementary School on December 3rd between 9 AM and 1 PM. Below are pictures of the two types of beautiful trees available from Oregon Fresh.

Fresh&Easy Shop for Kids
Parents and students may collect receipts from purchases made at any Fresh&Easy store September 1 and December 31, 2011. All receipts
must be turned in to the school office. For every $20 spent per visit at one of our Fresh&Easy stores, the school will receive a $1 cash
donation. For example, a single receipt totaling $39.99 is worth $1, while a single receipt for $40.01 is worth $2, but a receipt for $18.50
is not eligible. Please save your receipts and turn them into the Fresh&Easy boxes in the classrooms or the school office.
In addition, on November 10th, between 4 PM and 8 PM, YEAA voluteers will bag groceries at the
Fresh&Easy store at 1700-C Rosecrans Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 (Near Rosecrans and Aviation). During this time,
Fresh&Easy will donate 5% of the stores sales to Yukon Elementary School. This is in addition to $1 for every $20
spent, which we will already be receiving by participating in the Shop for Schools program!
Lucky Strike Lanes
Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes in Torrance's Del Amo Mall has adopted Yukon Elementary School. As part of our relationship, Lucky Strike will hold several Family Bowling Nights throughout the school year.
